In this role, you’ll help connect the data, systems, and people that make those experiences possible - turning complex information into actionable insights, improving how we work, and helping shape a smarter, more connected school.\nReporting to the Director, Information & Learning Technology, you’ll collaborate with academic, operational, and technology teams to strengthen our data foundations, improve digital systems, and explore how automation and AI can create new possibilities for teaching, learning, and school operations.\nWhat you'll do\nMake data work smarter\nHelp build a strong data governance programme, ensuring our data is accurate, clearly defined, well managed, and used responsibly.\nMap key data sources, clarify ownership, and strengthen the integrations that connect our school systems.\nDevelop and improve reporting, dashboards, and data visualisations that help educators and school leaders make informed decisions.\nPromote data quality, privacy, security, and thoughtful stewardship across the school.\nConnect systems to support learning\nConfigure and support our Student Information System (Blackbaud), including year-end rollover and preparation for each new school year.\nWork with the Registrar and Digital Learning & AI Specialist to maintain reliable connections between our student information and learning management systems.\nCoordinate and validate data for reporting cycles, including report cards and standardised assessments such as CEM.\nHelp transform learning and assessment data into meaningful insights that support educators and student learning.\nFind better ways to work\nIdentify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve efficiency through automation.\nHelp evaluate, implement, and improve digital platforms, considering integration, privacy, security, and usability.\nExplore how AI and data-analysis tools can uncover patterns, streamline processes, and reveal new opportunities - always with appropriate human oversight and validation.\nBuild clear documentation, establish reliable processes, and maintain a focused portfolio of systems and data improvement initiatives.\nWhat you'll bring\nYou’re someone who enjoys connecting the dots. You can look at a complex process, ask the right questions, investigate the underlying data, and find a practical way to make things better. You’re comfortable working with technical detail, but you also know how to explain what matters to people who don’t work in technology.\nYou’ll bring:\nPost-secondary education or equivalent experience in information systems, data analytics, business analysis, educational technology, or a related field.\nThree to five years of experience working with data, business applications, information systems, or system integrations.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent organisation and documentation habits.\nConfidence working with spreadsheets, managing data, investigating discrepancies, and improving data quality.\nThe ability to understand complex workflows and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.\nAn interest in exploring APIs, data visualisation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows - and the curiosity to keep learning.\nA strong commitment to privacy, security, accuracy, and responsible data use.\nIt would be an asset if you have experience with Blackbaud Education Management, Toddle, SQL, APIs, Google Workspace, data governance, dashboards, or K-12 education.
