We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages that include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid holidays, paid vacation, and 401K.\nResponsibilities\nDevelopment and management of all project documentation\nSchedule and lead project hand-off meetings to ensure important job information is gathered before proceeding into construction phase\nPrepare construction budget by studying plans and specifications and identifying and projecting costs for each scope/item/division; convert estimates into cost budgets and verify cost code accuracy\nObtain appropriate permits\nFinalize Schedule of Values for owner billing\nBuild and actively manage the project schedule with the field supervisors\nComplete job number request forms and submit to accounting for job number assignment\nPrepare electronic timesheet to match cost code breakdown\nEnsure project financial success by establishing and managing project schedules and budgets, preparing and reporting monthly on job cost, and actively work to ensure project profitability\nDevelop and write subcontracts and purchase orders as required including negotiating terms, price, deliveries, and restock fees\nContractually manage subcontractors\nSubmit new vendor/subcontractor form to AP prior to job start\nPrepare material status log and update continually\nCollect and organize submittals and product samples for approval as needed\nPrepare productivity tracking logs and update daily\nPrepare/review daily pipe and structural weld reports/inspection reports for tracking purposes\nPrepare PMIs (internal running punch list) and review with construction team\nCreate and distribute RFIs for information and clarification of project specifics\nPrepare monthly project billing and/or invoices\nSubmit credit card receipts weekly (Refer to the Corporate Credit Card Agreement)\nResolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information\nCollaboratively price, negotiate, and formalize all changes in project scope\nProvide adequate Notices of Delay to Owners, General Contractors, and Sub-Contractors to document external schedule impacts\nWork collaboratively with Assistant Project Managers and Superintendents on their requests for resources as required to meet project schedules\nHire field personnel as needed and work with HR to schedule onboarding of personnel\nEnsure client satisfaction while balancing competing demands among scope, time, and cost\nReview time sheets for accuracy and submit to HR/Payroll for processing\nConduct direct report employee reviews annually or more often if needed\nManage safety, quality, and productivity of the project\nPrepare/review safety and quality incident reports and submit to HR\nSubmit employee reprimand, termination, and request off forms to HR\nApprove invoices in accounting software weekly\nEnsure jobsite remains clean and orderly\nUpdate Opportunity Project Tracking Form and submit to CRM Manager\n\nQualifications\nPrevious work experience in project management or BS/BA degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field\nPMP, CCM, or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset\nDesign/Build experience would be considered an asset\nOSHA 30, First Aid and CPR Training\nExtensive work experience managing budgets for construction projects\nExcellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment\nHighly organized\nPrevious experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills\nKnowledge of MS Office Suite\nKnowledge of construction safety and quality standards\nUnderstanding of construction management processes\nAbility to work collaboratively and plan ahead\nFamiliarity with construction and project management software programs\nAbility to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs\nHigh degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions\nConflict resolution and conflict management experience\nExcellent time management ability\nAbility to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties\nExcellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities\nJoin Us\nMullins Mechanical ranked #243 on the 2024 ENR Top Specialty Contractors list, #48 in the Nation and #5 in the Southeast among Firms in Mechanical.
