This role includes coordinating field technicians, liaising with clients, ensuring code compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of fire protection systems, proven project management experience, and excellent communication skills.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nManage multiple projects, including new installations and retrofits to existing buildings\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors, and internal departments.\nDevelop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, track progress and performance.\nEnsure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and company safety standards.\nCoordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and field service dispatch.\nMaintain accurate project documentation\nTroubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions for system deficiencies.\nSupport sales by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations.\nEnsure timely billing and assist with resolving invoicing discrepancies.\nPromote and maintain a safe working environment.\nParticipate in business development through sales calls, networking, and market awareness.\nConduct site surveys to determine customer needs and provide technical education.\nProvide training on new systems as they are introduced.\nAttend annual continuing education classes.\nRead and interpret blueprints and technical documents.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEducation & Qualifications\nMinimum 5 years of experience in the fire protection industry, with emphasis on sprinkler systems.\nProven project management experience, ideally in a service-focused environment.\nNICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems (preferred).\nProject Management certifications (PMP, PgMP, CAPM) are highly desirable.\nProficiency with project management and scheduling software\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nOther Requirements\nAdherence to company Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Safety Policy.\nFlexibility to work outside standard business hours to meet deadlines or respond to emergencies.\nPhysical Requirements\nOffice and field-based environment with occasional job site visits.\nAbility to travel as needed for client meetings, site surveys, and project oversight.\nJoin Us\nMullins Mechanical ranked #243 on the 2024 ENR Top Specialty Contractors list, #48 in the Nation and #5 in the Southeast among Firms in Mechanical.
