The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company’s core strategies and moves products to accommodate production. \nWhy work at MCC: \nCompetitive Compensation\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k) \nPaid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays \nResponsibilities: \nMaterial Handling & Workflow\nSafely operate forklifts and other material-moving equipment to transport products and supplies.\nRead and interpret job tickets and layouts to ensure correct materials are delivered to production.\nExecute production schedules accurately and promptly to maximize throughput.\nCoordinate workflow with associates across departments to maintain efficiency.\n\nDocumentation & Systems\nAccurately complete required documentation for job tracking, payroll, and inventory control.\nEnter data into systems to support production and shipping accuracy.\nLabel and identify waste containers properly and maintain compliance with disposal procedures.\n\nSafety & Compliance\nAdhere to facility safety policies and procedures, including GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards.\nParticipate in safety observations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.\nSupport daily housekeeping efforts to sustain a safe and efficient warehouse.\n\nQualifications: \nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nForklift certification and material handling experience required.\nBasic math, reading, and computer skills.\nStrong interpersonal and communication abilities.\nAbility to stand, walk, lift, and move up to 50 lbs regularly; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching required.\nVision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.\nKnowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes preferred.\n\nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
