Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.\nWe are currently looking for Machine Operators and Printing Assistants/Support to join our team, experience is not required but always a bonus.Why work at MCC: \nCompetitive compensation, Starting Pay - $19.50p/h+\nPlus $1.00p/h for night shift premium \n$40/month fitness reimbursement program.\nReimbursement program for shoes \nPaid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays\nMCC offers a competitive wage and generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k).\nResponsibilities:\nOperates a number of machines to help create labels and flexible packaging.\nContinuously checks for print and seam quality.\nRemoves defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.\nUtilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).\nHandles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.\nMust understand basic printing and seam related defects.\nAttains and maintains all defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of all jobs and quick changes\nAssists in the performance of all external make-ready operations in preparation for changeover activities (changing from one label job to another)\nAssists in the performance of all external clean-up activities following changeover\nCleans ink pans and ancillary equipment\nStrips plates from cylinders\nLocates dies to and from press\nMay be required to work with press operator to view labels with assistance of strobe light\nComply with quality assurance specifications of the customer and MCC\nMay be required to complete quality assurance sheet and associated documentation\nResponsible for working overtime when needed and as assigned\nRelated duties as assigned\nRecording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).\nParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nAbility to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.\nAbility to use simple windows based applications.\nMust be able regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
