Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.\nThe Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions. \nWhy work at MCC: \nCompetitive Compensation\nShift differentials offered for 2nd and 3rd shift positions \nExceptional training and team support.\nOpportunity to grow within the Global organization and learn from the best.\nGreat environment with a strong and friendly team of co-workers.\nMedical, Dental, Vision, Supplemental Insurances, Flex & HSA, 401k Matching, and Vacation Paid Time Off.\nResponsibilities: \nOur Printing Press Operators must adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. \nReports all safety concerns or issues to their immediate supervisor. \nMaintains a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments. \nCompletes make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used. \nResponsible for completing all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Completes all press-side quality checks. \nOperates press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintain quality, waste, and press efficiency. \nMaintains consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks includes: copy, color, and registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks. \nResponsible for completing all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard. \nCompletes press make ready’s in an efficient manner. \nCompletes all required equipment maintenance duties. \nCleans plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricates press as needed. \nInputs all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner. \nQualifications: \nHigh school diploma or GED.\nThe physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
