Working for our team, you can truly make a difference. \nThe objective of the Quality Engineer is to develop and implement procedures to maintain and continually improve product and process quality. Be a change agent for process improvement and standardization efforts. Lead efforts to maintain certifications for ISO and Food Safety as well as relevant customer qualifications. Holidays \nResponsibilities:\nServe as an ISO and/or Food Safety auditor on a local plant level and other Food & Beverage facilities as well. \nResponsible for the maintenance of ISO and FSSC documentation at the plant level. \nPrimary “point-of-contact” for internal and external (customer complaint's inclusive) investigation of non-conformances to include interaction with process owners and Senior Management with the end result being the determination of root cause and corrective actions that may require training. \nResponsible for analysis of color evaluations, graphics, aesthetics, and run-ability parameters in the plant. \nServe as the plant’s SME (subject matter expert) for the quality data collection system. \nProficient in the Company’s Business System Quality Module with special emphasis on “roll tracing”. \nResponsible for the completion of customer specific COAs and data collection when it is part of a customer’s requirement (i.e. CBI). \nTraining new Quality employees or retraining current employee in the use of all gauges and measurement equipment as it relates to internal and external “fitness for use” critical characteristics. \nOther duties as assigned to advance the mission of the Company. \nServe as back-up for the Quality Manager. \nAvailable to help cover for and/or support the Quality Technicians. \nAdditional responsibilities related to customer quality and to support the overall quality effort as needed. \nEnsure that Food Safety Policies and practices are followed and understood.\n\nQualifications:\nExcellent communication skills to include verbal, written, and presentation skills. \nExperience utilizing Practice Problem Solving tools to include FMEA, 8D, Cause & Effect (Fishbone), 5 Why, Pareto Charts, Design of Experiment (DOE). \nExcellent working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. \nExcellent math and statistical skills. \nExperience with HACCP and GMPs. \nAbility to manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision. \nAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. \nHighly organized, detail oriented, and data driven. \nCapable of assembling a clear and operational document to describe a process, based on the Company’s ISO format and training of that procedure. \nEnthusiasm for learning and personal growth. \nMust be willing to work any shift and overtime as warranted. \nMust be willing to travel to support the Company’s
