This role ensures the timely and accurate scheduling of orders through the factory, supporting on-time, in-full, and to-spec delivery performance.The Scheduler plays a critical role in aligning production schedules with customer requirements and MCC’s operational targets for efficiency, quality, and service. Overarching responsibilities for the role: SAFETY, QUALITY, SERVICE, PRODUCTIVITY, SUPPLY CHAIN.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring all jobs are planned to meet customer deadlines and strict DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) expectations.\nMonitor and manage scheduling daily, resolving conflicts or delays through effective communication, facilitation, and problem-solving.\nAllocate jobs to appropriate press technologies based on label specifications, material requirements, and production efficiency.\nLiaise regularly with the Production Manager to align planned work with operational capacity, labor availability (including overtime), and performance targets.\nCommunicate accurate lead times and delivery schedules to internal teams, adjusting plans as needed to accommodate customer changes or production constraints.\nIdentify potential delivery risks early and collaborate with the Services team to implement proactive solutions.\nAssist in planning and coordinating Customer Technical Visits (CTVs), ensuring alignment between Production, Services, and client expectations.\nMaintain accurate capacity and machine performance data to support scheduling accuracy and decision-making.\nPrepare and deliver press performance and schedule updates for production discussions and meetings as required.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by participating in process reviews, identifying efficiency gains, and contributing to cross-functional improvement projects.\nFoster high levels of verbal and written communication across departments, especially between Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Production teams.\nProvide administrative support to the leadership team as required.\nProvide local and group (Intranet) lead-time updates.\nCooperate on quality investigations related to schedule or production performance issues.\nParticipate in special projects and other duties as assigned within the Scheduling and Planning scope.\nProvide secondary support to the Scheduling function, stepping in as needed to manage planning responsibilities during periods of increased workload, staff absence, or other disruptions that may impact timely scheduling.\nSupport continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process enhancements that improve efficiency and data integrity.\nREQUIREMENTS\nPrevious related work experience or a similar role within manufacturing, packaging, printing, or industrial environments.\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.\nExcellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to service delivery.\nMust have valid Australian working
