If your purpose and passions align with ours, you’ll find a place to grow, do meaningful work and build a career you love in a community that feels like home.\nFTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 830am - 5:00pm\nPosition Summary\nThe MRI Level 1 Tech Assistant/Imaging Scheduler performs a variety of critical functions to maintain clinical flow and ensure patients receive care in a timely fashion.Responsibilities:\nPerforms various clerical duties. Updates patient information provides required forms to complete and obtains signatures as necessary. Prints screening forms and patient requisitions.\nAnswers telephone and coordinates workflow.\nInterviews patient using screening/contrast forms. Discusses patient answers with technologist.\nProvides clothing and changing assistance as needed.\nAssists technologist with MRI patients and procedures.\nPerforms MRI room setup for next exam.\nProvides assistance during an emergency.\nBegins patient exam in RIS; technologist will complete exam in RIS.\nTransports patient from MRI to and from other areas in Imaging.\nTransports patient when house transport is unavailable.\nCleans and stocks room with supplies and linen.\nMonitors inventory and orders supplies.\nFollows department Safety protocols for maintaining magnetic safety.\nSchedules outpatient appointments in scheduling program and RIS for MR and other imaging modalities.\nVerifies insurance eligibility as appropriate.\nSchedules interpreters for patient as needed.\nContributes to professional communication with team members in order to convey important information relating to patient care, operations, or clinical needs.\nMaintains awareness of changes in protocols/procedures of the department; maintains competency on all applicable computer systems.\nRequirements:\nHigh school or equivalency.\nMedical background and computer experience preferable. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $17.13 - $22.93 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
