This position requires the ability to learn and retain a broad base of knowledge concerning all examinations and make quick, independent decisions using good judgment. Work situations require a service-oriented individual with the ability to respond to physicians, patients and families with sympathy, respect and understanding. Contacts include patients, families and referring physicians and their office staff, Radiologists, Nursing, and all Imaging Modality Technologists.Requirements\nPost high school clerical vocational training or college course work preferred\nMedical Terminology certification preferred\nExperience in a medical setting, preferably in imaging and scheduling exp a plus\nMinimum one (1) year of experience working with EMR or RIS\nWhere kids and families are always first\nEverything we do starts with a commitment to children and families. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.62 - $35.95 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
