In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting facilities across our health system.Responsibilities\nYou will oversee the safe and efficient operations of the gas and electric boilers, HVAC, air compressors, pumps, emergency generators, and other auxiliary equipment\n\nYou will oversee the safe and efficient operations of the hospital’s infrastructure, ensuring maintaining all regulatory compliance\n\nYou will monitor and assign work orders to ensure timely completion.\n\nYou will perform tasks pertaining to the boiler room and steam distribution system\n\nYou will perform rounds and inspections of machine rooms and roof areas\n\nRequirements\nHigh school graduate or equivalent preferred\n\nMay require a City of Tacoma Engineer License II (or obtain license within 90 days of hire) depending on location\n\nAccomplished in steam, HVAC, and basic electrical related to plant operations and maintenance\n\nMinimum four (4) years of experience directly related to operations and maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems\n\nComputer and EMCS experience preferred\n\nValid Washington State driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state\n\nAdditional Requirements for Allenmore Hospital Include :\nWashington State Department of Ecology, UST Class A/B Certification\n\nMedical gas ASSE6040 certification\n\nMinimum five (5) years of experience operating in a lead/supervisory capacity\n\nAdditional Requirements for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Include:\nCompletion of Vocational Trade/Tech certification program or Certificate of Licensure in the identified areasMedical gas ASSE 6040 certification after hire\nASHE Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker required within 6 months of hireOn Call Required\nAbout Good Samaritan Hospital\nMultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County.
