This includes partnering to develop, implement and organize the annual and multi-year plan to assure quality, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and meeting the specific standards for the setting(s) of care. The QPM-RN provides expertise regarding clinical knowledge and top national and regional performance to the planning, performance assessment and best practices in the clinical domain.Responsibilities\nDirects activities relating to the related Quality Program, assuring initiatives, projects, and activities are completed within established timeframes, and performs ongoing performance analysis to identify clinical outcome and other improvement opportunities\nDevelops components of the QAPI and other regulatory requirements\nConducts analysis for area, includes common techniques such as apparent and common cause and RCA analysis as well as descriptive statistics and value stream mapping\nDevelops data and information into quality analyses such as pareto and driver diagrams, visual displays, graphs to display complex information in usable formats\nDeveloping routine reporting to assess effectiveness of PI projects and interventions, achievement of outcomes; as well as ad hoc reporting using QM tools like tracers, dashboards, \nUses tools such as the Epic chart and chart review to assess the quality and safety of care and to design improvement solutions, etc.\nOversees PI, analysis and reporting for projects and activities in assigned area, and develops recommendations, based on research and findings, for appropriate actions by departments/organizational committees\nRequirements\nCurrent Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)\nBachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service may be considered in lieu of education agreement\nAdvanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred\nRelevant certification in the specialty area preferred\nMinimum five (5) years of experience in a professional or technical role/function in a healthcare or related setting as applicable to a clinical specialty /service line\nMinimum three (3) years of experience in a quality, regulatory readiness, performance improvement or patient safety roleConsideration of equivalency of prior nurse or clinical supervisory or management roles\n\nInternal candidates’ experience and performance may be considered in lieu of education and experience\nExpected to be competent /proficient in one (one) domain of quality ( Pt Safety, ACRR, Peer /Physician Quality, Quality Metrics and Reporting, Clinical Analytics, Clinical Pathways)\nAbout Good Samaritan Hospital\nMultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $121,118.40 - $197,579.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
