cash and site cash floats.\nEnsure all transactions are correctly allocated in the accounting system.\nPayroll Administration SupportAssist with the collection and verification of timesheets.\nCapture payroll-related information accurately.\nProcess employee advances, deductions, and reimbursements.\nMaintain confidentiality of payroll information.\nSite Cost AdministrationCapture and allocate site operational costs.\nMonitor expenditure against approved budgets.\nAssist with monthly cost reporting.\nSupport contract-specific cost tracking and project accounting requirements.\nGeneral Ledger AdministrationProcess journal entries as instructed.\nAssist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.\nMaintain financial records in accordance with company procedures.\nSupport month-end and year-end financial close processes.\nProcurement and Inventory SupportVerify purchase requisitions and supporting documentation.\nAssist with the monitoring of purchase orders and supplier accounts.\nReconcile fuel, consumables, spare parts, and inventory-related transactions.\nLiaise with procurement and stores departments regarding discrepancies.\nCompliance and ReportingEnsure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.\nSupport internal and external audit processes.\nMaintain accurate filing systems for financial documentation.\nAssist in compiling management reports and financial schedules.\nSkills required for the job:\n\nMust have experience working in the mining industry\nMust have experience working on SAGE Pastel\nCandidate must be able to prepare basic financial reports for management\nKnowledge of transactions up to trial balance\nGood negotiation, communication, and organisational skills\nComputer literacy\nExcellent communication skills \nExcellent financial literacy\nQualifications:\nMatric certificate\nA qualification in financial accounting will be highly advantageous\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills\nClean criminal record\nOwn transport\nValid driver's license\n Experience:The successful incumbent must have at least three to five (3-5) year's experience within a financial role, experience within the mining
