Cleans, service, and maintains manufacturing gauges and equipment. Supports metrology related activities. Support IATF16949 regulatory requirements. Should be self-directed and work well with minimal supervision.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nundefined\nundefined\nInspect, perform, and document calibrations according to company policies and procedures.\nEvaluate received gauges and develop calibration procedures.\nMaintains gauging equipment within operating within specifications.\nStrict adherence to IATF 16949, ISO, government, and safety regulations that ensures equipment is calibrated and maintained as required.\nPerform preventive maintenance and service of gauges & equipment.\nMaintain accurate records of calibrations and product changes.\nPerforms maintenance, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of gauges & End of Line equipment.\nOrders calibration supplies and equipment. Maintains spare parts for gauges & equipment.\nPerform capability studies, GRR studies, and MSA to Customer Specific requirements.\nTrains others in the proper use of measurement equipment and standards.\nGD&T - needs to be able to read, interpret and understand blueprints.\nBasic Computer skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft products.\nAble to run parts using PC-DMIS Software package on CMM.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh School diploma or GED\nMinimum two (2) years’ experience in quality related field\n1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing (preferred)\nExperience with GagePack (preferred but not required)\nExperience with IATF16949 (preferred but not required)\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, comprehend and interpret documents and statutes from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure and policy manuals, contracts, and agreements.\nAbility to write instructions, procedures, policies, reports, and various correspondences.\nAbility to speak and present effectively in one-on-one, and in small and large group settings, as well as before customers, government, and regulatory agencies.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to apply mathematical concepts in statistical analysis, MSAs, and part variations.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding and create instructions, reports and analysis from data or statues furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Interpret and apply laws and regulations to situations. Ability to negotiate with associates and business entities.\nSuperior interpersonal abilities.
