For MAMT to continue to lead the industry, it is critical that the highest quality prototypes be delivered in a timely manner.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSaw-cutting and square up various metal\nComfortable manual milling machine & manual lathe operation\nComfortable using hand tools\nProficient at milling machine operation set-ups\nBasic understanding of best machine practices (feeds & speeds)\nProgram CNC code from provided CAD data\nSet up appropriate machining tools, offsets, and materials as per program direction\nRun CNC Code and verify finished components as required\nInteract with Design Engineers/Project Leaders/Toolmakers/Apprentices to develop (high volume) manufacturable components with an eye for product improvement and potential build issues\nEnsure that the customers’ requirements, which include project timing, part quality and delivery are understood and met\nConsider alternative solutions for given tasks or problems\nMaintain job folder/electronic data as required\nAttend meetings as required\nBe responsible for all parameters of assigned tasks\nEnsure the shop environment is kept safe, clean and organized to enable timely and safe manufacturing techniques\nReview project direction with Project Leader\nKeep supervisor informed of all program issues\nAssign tasks to co-workers as per direction of supervisor\nProvide training, guidance and assistance to co-workers as required\nEnsure adequate communication with other program team members\nMaintain accurate timesheets and ensure they are completed on time\nFollow all documented quality procedures\nObserve all company safety rules, policies and procedures\nAttend all training courses required\nDocument/present information obtained from conferences and training courses as required\nParticipating in MAMT’s continuous improvement activities\nFoster good employee relations\nPerform all other duties as determined by the General Manager or his designate\nWork Term: January 2027 - December 2027\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
