Program Manager manages all aspects of program development from concept through launch, ensuring successful execution in timing, engineering, testing, quality, and profitability.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee program execution to achieve the organization’s strategic goals.\n\nDefine scope, set goals, create roadmaps and timelines, and oversee the execution to ensure all milestones and budgeted targets are achieved.\n\nIdentify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure all efforts align with objectives.\n\nAllocate resources effectively across the various teams, manage program budgets, and track spending.\n\nIdentify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, resolve conflicts, track open issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed.\n\nKeep all stakeholders informed of program progress, status, and any issues.\n\nTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.\n\nChampion the quoting process (including timing and deliverables) for prototypes and production.\n\nLead design-for-manufacturing initiatives and provide ongoing feedback to stakeholders.\n\nManage all testing and prototype related activities ensuring standards and maintained and requirements met.\n\nOversee kickoff and approval of purchased components, tooling, gauges, and fixtures.\n\nParticipate in specification, sourcing, and negotiation of assembly and tooling contracts in collaboration with Process Engineering.\n\nApprove tooling and line equipment for payment after successful in-house trials.\n\nArrange and authorize packaging development with packaging and process engineering teams.\n\nCoordinate process sign-off and ensure readiness for production.\n\nWork with the Quality Department to prepare and review PPAP submissions.\n\nInitiate and coordinate new program releases and engineering changes through the production ECN system.\n\nEnsure containment and stabilization of new processes and parts prior to full production.\n\nParticipate in DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, FEA, product drawings, control plans, and design reviews.\n\nLiaise directly with customers (engineering, purchasing, project teams) regarding feasibility, risks, and the Statement of Work.\n\nEnsure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and applicable customer specific requirements.\n\nWork in a safe manner at all times.\n\nAdopt, practice, and support Kaizen principles and concepts including GEAR activities.\n\nFollow all Company procedures and policies and work in compliance and conform to standards.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\nA bachelor’s degree or diploma in an engineering discipline.\n\nMinimum of 3 years of related experience managing or supporting programs in a complex manufacturing environment.\n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.\n\nExperience with automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier program launches is an asset.\n\nAbility to read and fully interpret engineering drawings and standards.\n\nStrong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and other core quality tools.\n\nSolid organizational skills and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and employees at all levels.\n\nKnowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, and related automotive quality standards.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of MS Office programs (Including Excel, Word and Outlook).\n\nPrevious supervisory experience as a quality engineer would be beneficial.\n\nExcellent problem solving/judgement skills and high degree of attention to detail.\n\nProven leadership, management, and supervisory abilities.\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills- dealing with customers and various departments.\n\nAbility to read, write and speak
