The successful candidate must be able to effectively organize incoming concerns and communicate the customer’s vehicle requirements so that tasks are executed in an accurate and timely manner. They must also be able to source parts and organize shipments.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nPerform vehicle repairs in house and at offsite locations\nAbility to travel domestically or internationally for work if necessary\nAssist with diagnosis and supervise repairs remotely at dealerships around the World as a “Fly in Doctor”\nComply with relevant local Health and Safety legislation and company Health and Safety Policies\nBe the main point of contact between the company, the dealerships, and the customers\nIdentify and record any issues related to service and warranty and organize/communicate them in a way that deliverables can be tracked, and closure can be expedited\nDocument and summarize activities and status to keep teams and management informed\nConsult with the manufacturing team regarding necessary repairs or service part builds\nDetermine the cost and timeline for vehicle service / repairs and prepare Estimates\nDocument incoming repairs photographically and in written reports\nSubmission of claims for vehicle/part warranty, shipment expediting, and/or other repairs\nOrder all parts as required and organize their movement to the intended locations including all necessary paperwork\nManage, coordinate and prioritize several activities with flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment\nManaging part number revisions and updating various systems to keep them aligned and current while staying on top of pricing updates\nOwning the Service Bill of Materials and maintaining it as required to keep up with changes\nReviewing and updating Workshop Manuals and other service documentation to capture lessons learned and improve communication\nOther duties as defined by the leadership team\nEducation and Experience:\nMust have expert level professional vehicle maintenance/repair and customer service experience\nMinimum 5 years in the automotive industry ideally including Dealership Service Department experience\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to adapt communications to account for sensitivity of information\nAbility to understand and exercise cultural etiquette as required when travelling\nAbility to work in a team-based environment as well as establish and maintain cooperative working relationships between the customers and supplier/manufacturer \nStrong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills to perform the job successfully and independently\nHighly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint\nBonus if proficient in CQIS, CAD Software, PTS, OWS, Ariba, SAP, Covisint, MicroCat\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
