Scan to the materials system, and write down the lot numbers shipped on the items lot.\nTag and label all necessary material as required.\nParticipate in all physical inventory.\nEnsure all truck wheels are chocked before loading or unloading.\nScan labels for internal purposes and any customers that require scanned labels for ASN.\nSend advance ship notice to customers (ASN).\nPrint daily schedule at the time of each shipment.\nPrint picklist and items for all customer orders and check against the shipping schedule.\nPick all material in FIFO order and complete pick list/items lot. \nStrap, tape and shrink wrap necessary packages and orders.\nLoad trucks with customer orders.\nUnload customer returnable container and defective parts.\nReturn all forms, checklist, picklists and bills to their appropriate trays or file.\nUse the materials system to enhance all inventory functions.\nPrint and complete bills and invoice as required.\nActively participate in team meetings and monthly employees meeting.\nFollow all departmental and general procedures where applicable.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager.\nAbide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA.\nWork in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.\nAdopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.\nBasic Requirements:\nCompletion of a high school diploma.\nThree years shipping and receiving experience in the automotive industry.\nPossess a valid tow motor license.\nProficient computer skills (i.e. Excel, MS Office, MRP, SAP).\nSelf-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.\nComprehensive understanding of lot traceability.\nPossess the ability to work in a very busy environment where changes are constant.\nMust have material handling experience.\nPick and pack orders.\nMust be a team player.\nThis job posting is for an existing vacancy.
