You will play a hands-on role in the design, development, and validation of advanced suspension systems and components for a range of high-profile automotiveprogrammes.\nFrom concept through to production, you will be involved in creating innovative design solutions,buildingand testing prototypes, and supporting our customers with world-class engineering documentation and technicalexpertise.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign & model suspension components and assemblies using Siemens NX CAD software, frominitialconcept through to production-intent design.\n\nCreate andmaintain engineering records, including drawings, bills of materials, and design documentation to the highest standards.\n\nPlan and conduct physical testing of engineering prototypes,analysingresultsand feeding findings back into the design process.\n\nEnsure all components and assemblies meet applicable regulatory, industry, and customer-specific standards.\n\nPresent design solutions and technical reports to both internal stakeholders and external customers.\n\nCollaborate across multi-disciplinary teams, supportingprogrammedelivery and contributing to continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.\n\nUphold quality management standards (e.g.IATF 16949, ISO 9001) andmaintainthe highest levels of information security and prototype protection.\n\nEssential Qualifications & Experience\nDegree in Engineering (Mechanical or similar discipline), orequivalent projectexperience performing engineering design tasks.\n\nExperience in automotive engineering or a closely related field.\n\nStrong working knowledge of computer-aided design tools (e.g.CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks).\n\nGood working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancingideally to ASME Y14.5)\n\nUnderstanding ofmanufacturing processes relevant to suspension components.\n\nWorking knowledge of failure mode avoidance tools (e.g.DFMEA, PFMEA, Six Sigma).\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n\nMust hold a current passport anddrivinglicense andbe willing to travel asrequired.\n\nDesirable Experience\nThe following areas of knowledge or experience are highly desirable and will strengthen your application:\nSeals -selection, application, and design for dynamic sealing systems.\n\nBearings - specification and integration of bearing systems in rotating or sliding assemblies.\n\nMaterialbehaviour - understanding of material properties,selection, andbehaviourunder loadand temperature\n\nFriction - tribology principles and their application in mechanical design.\n\nHydraulics - design and understanding of hydraulic systems and fluid power components.\n\nElectromechanical systems and sensors\n\nWhat We Offer\nThe opportunity to work on world-class automotive and motorsportprogrammesalongside a highly skilled and passionate team.\n\nA collaborative, engineering-first culture that values innovation and technical growth.\n\nExposureto cutting-edge suspension technologies across a diverse and exciting customer base.\n\nA supportive environment that encourages professional development and continuous learning.\n\nTo learn more about Multimatic, check out our youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psOjJIh3t90\nIf you are interested in this position, apply by sending us your cover letter and resume.\nWe thank all interested candidates in advance;
