Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPerform Destructive Cut & Etch testing on production MIG welds.\nPerform Rockwell hardness testing as required. (infrequent)\nPerform destructive testing on Resistance Spot welds and Resistance Projection nuts/studs.\nPerform Quality Engineer driven testing as required. (IE measure depth of scratch in a bar)\nManage Discrepant Weld Reports including emailing and the generation/data entry/ and saving of reports in Excel.\nDocument testing procedures and results\nFile and maintain in-process inspection reports.\nAssist the Quality Manager and Metallurgist as assigned.\nConduct oneself in a professional and technical manner that positively impacts the Quality Department and MNH as a whole\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum two (2) years general or specific experience in this field.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read, comprehend and interpret documents and statutes from jurisdictional agencies and governmental units, procedure and policy manuals, contracts and agreements.\nAbility to write instructions, procedures, policies, reports and various correspondences.\nAbility to speak and present effectively in one-on-one, and in small and large group settings, as well as before customers, government and regulatory agencies.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis for variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to apply common sense understanding and create instructions, reports and analysis from data or statues furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Interpret and apply laws and regulations to situations.\nSuperior interpersonal abilities. Ability to communicate with diverse personalities is tactful, mature and flexible. Good reasoning abilities, sound judgment, resourceful and well organized. The ability to establish credibility and be decisive, while supporting personnel and the organizations preferences and priorities.
