This is a hands-on, high-impact engineering role focused on building user-centric, scalable tools that directly transform how complex professional services are delivered. You should be able to work independently and take ownership of your work, while communicating clearly and proactively within a remote team that operates across multiple time zones.\nYou will work closely with end users, product managers, designers and other engineers to design, implement, and deploy features that make meaningful improvements to workflow efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Development & Engineering\nDesign, build, and ship software features end-to-end, from conception to deployment and iteration.\n\nTranslate real-world tax and accounting workflows into elegant, scalable software systems.\n\nCollaborate with product and design to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure seamless user experiences.\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code with an eye for scalability and performance.\n\nUser-Centered Problem Solving\nWork directly with tax professionals to understand their needs and pain points.\nTranslate user feedback into actionable product improvements and technical solutions.\n\nPrototype and iterate rapidly to validate ideas and deliver value fast.\n\nCollaboration & Process\nPartner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other Engineering and AI teams to integrate data-driven automation into product workflows.\n\nContribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements that help the engineering team scale efficiently.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nStay current on modern engineering practices, emerging technologies, and domain trends within fintech, accounting, and AI automation.\n\nContribute ideas that elevate our products, codebase, and development culture.\n\nWho You Are\nExperienced Engineer (5+ years preferred) with a track record of ownership across the full product lifecycle.\n\nPassionate about building user-facing products and working closely with real users to shape impactful solutions.\n\nStrong foundation in modern full-stack development (Typescript, Node.js, React, Postgre)\n\nExperienced in B2B or Fintech environments, particularly in information- or compliance-heavy domains.\n\nComfortable navigating ambiguity, working independently, and iterating quickly in a startup environment.\n\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.\n\nThis is a global role requiring coverage of Europe, UK, and Israel time zones, with regular overlap into Asia or US working hours
