The storefront is a modern headless Shopify application built with Shopify Hydrogen, React, and TypeScript, integrated directly into their subscription platform and supporting business systems.\nThis is a hands-on full-stack role with a strong frontend focus. You will develop customer-facing features, maintain server-side logic and API pipelines, investigate technical issues, and thoroughly validate releases. The role provides direct access to senior engineering guidance while giving you the latitude to deliver independently.\nResponsibilities \nOwn development tickets from understanding requirements through implementation and release.\n\nBuild and improve landing pages, product pages, collection pages, shopping flows, and reusable application components.\n\nTranslate designs, screenshots, and business requirements into polished, responsive experiences across mobile and desktop.\n\nTake ownership of testing and release quality by validating complete customer journeys, checking edge cases and regressions, documenting test results, maintaining automated tests where appropriate, and verifying changes after deployment.\n\nDevelop and maintain server-side routes and integrations with Shopify, subscription services, and other third-party APIs.\n\nDiagnose and resolve issues involving customer accounts, subscriptions, product selection, cart interactions, and checkout handoff.\n\nImprove website performance, including page speed, data loading, rendering, and visual stability.\n\nHelp implement A/B tests, website experiments, and related analytics events.\n\nSubmit clear pull requests, participate in code reviews, document relevant changes, and communicate progress and blockers early.\n\nCompetencies and Qualifications \nMust-Have \n3-5+ years of professional software development experience, with some examples of production work you’ve personally delivered.\n\nPractical React, JavaScript, and TypeScript experience, including the ability to work independently within an existing codebase.\n\nStrong HTML, CSS, and responsive design fundamentals.\n\nExperience using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) and verifying their output.\n\nAbility to investigate problems using browser developer tools, network requests, application logs, and systematic troubleshooting.\n\nFamiliarity with Git, branches, pull requests, and code reviews.\n\nEcommerce subscriptions, particularly Loop or a similar platform.\n\nNice-to-Have\n\nShopify Hydrogen, headless storefronts, GraphQL, or Shopify’s Storefront API.\n\nReact Router, Remix, Next.js, or other server-rendered React applications.\n\nPlaywright, Cypress, Vitest, BrowserStack, or comparable testing tools.\n\nTailwind CSS, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, or technical SEO.\n\nPostHog, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or A/B testing.\n\nCore Values\n\nBe Curious: Always ask, learn, and explore - stay hungry for improvement.\n\nBe Humble: Check your ego, own your mistakes, and grow through feedback.\n\nBe Fearless: Take smart risks, embrace discomfort, and push boundaries.\n\nTake Ownership: Be accountable - deliver with pride, integrity, and urgency.\n\nCommunicate Well: Be clear, honest, and present - especially when it’s hard.\n\nWhat We Offer\n100% Remote Work - Work from anywhere in the Philippines.\n\nCareer Growth Opportunities - Gain hands-on experience, and continuous learning.\n\nCollaborative & Innovative Team - Work alongside skilled professionals who value excellence.\n\nApplication Process\nWe understand that searching for a new job can be challenging, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
