In this role, you’ll work with prints, tools, and mechanical components to ensure products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standards.\nIf you enjoy mechanical work, problem-solving, and contributing to a fast-moving production environment, this is a great opportunity to make an impact within an established, industry-leading organization.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAssemble machines, equipment, and sub-assemblies following prints, specifications, and verbal instructions.\nFollow detailed assembly procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nRemove small amounts of metal to achieve precise fit between parts.\nDrill, tap, or ream holes as required by the build process.\nAlign components and secure them using bolts, screws, or rivets.\nInstall moving parts (shafts, levers, bearings) and test for smooth, proper movement.\nSupport testing and analysis of completed products to ensure performance and safety.\nRead and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation.\nSafely operate hoists, hydraulic presses, forklifts, and power buggies.\nFuel and test completed products or assist during final testing processes.\nHandle machinery and tools with care and attention to detail.\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.\nMaintain regular and predictable attendance.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Education\nHands-on mechanical experience; hydraulic system familiarity preferred.\nHigh School diploma or GED.\nAbility to operate hand tools and air-powered tools.\nAbility to safely operate hoists.\nCommunication & Interpersonal Skills\nAbility to read and understand simple instructions, numbers, and measurements.\nClear, basic communication skills for working within a production team.\nReliable, safety-minded work habits with strong attention to detail.\nTechnical Skills\nAbility to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, measurement in feet/inches).\nDemonstrated skill in fitting, aligning, and assembling mechanical parts.\nAbility to recognize part variances or issues and report concerns promptly.\nFamiliarity with mechanical testing or functional checks is a plus.\nComputer Skills\nAbility to read from electronic or printed diagrams or instructions if needed.\nBasic comfort learning internal systems or documentation tools (training provided).\nCertificates, Licenses & Requirements\nAbility to work on-site in Boise, ID on a full-time day shift schedule.\nAbility to follow safety rules, standard procedures, and quality expectations.\nPhysical Requirements\nRegular standing and walking for up to 10 hours in a fast-paced environment.\nFrequent use of hands and arms for handling parts, tools, and equipment.\nOccasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching.\nAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.\nRequired vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.\nExposure to chemicals such as hydraulic fluid, gas, diesel, or cleaners.\nWork environment includes loud noise; hearing protection is required.\nReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.\nCompensation & Benefits\n Pay: $19.00 / hour (Night Shift includes $2.00/hour shift bonus)\n Shift: Day Shift (M-TH 5am-3:30pm) or Night Shift (M-TH 3pm-1:30am)\n9 paid holidays\nGenerous PTO - accrues at 4 weeks per year starting immediately\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\nPaid Parental Leave\nFull Benefits Package starting the 1st of the month after 30 days, including:Medical, Dental, Vision\nLife and Disability Insurance\nFlex Spending Accounts\nAccidental, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity Insurance\nLegal Insurance\n\n 401(k) with discretionary company match\nTuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year\nEmployee Referral Program\nEmployee Assistance Program\nMultiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.\nEmployment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
