This highly visible, field-based role blends hands-on product demonstrations, contractor engagement, and business development to drive demand and expand our presence beyond traditional rental and distribution channels.\nIf you’re a concrete industry expert who enjoys working directly on job sites, showcasing equipment in real-world conditions, and building trusted relationships with contractors, this is an exciting opportunity to make a measurable impact.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBusiness Development & Customer Engagement\nProspect and develop new concrete business by calling directly on end users and contractors.\nCultivate strong contractor relationships to generate pull-through sales at job sites.\nDevelop and maintain databases of key contractor contacts and stay informed of major construction activity within assigned regions.\nCommunicate frequently with District Sales Representatives, Product Managers, and Multiquip leadership to ensure a unified customer approach.\nProduct Demonstrations & Technical Expertise\nHighlight, demonstrate, and market MQ Whiteman concrete placement and finishing equipment.\nSafely conduct live product demonstrations-day or night-in construction and industrial environments.\nExplain equipment features, benefits, and value propositions clearly and confidently.\nUtilize company-provided marketing materials to recommend the right machine for each application.\nMarket Intelligence & Reporting\nCommunicate job-site successes, challenges, competitive strategies, and pricing insights to management.\nComplete regular reporting through HubSpot CRM, including detailed market information and customer call reports.\nShare customer and market feedback to support continuous improvement in product design and performance.\nEquipment & Asset Management\nMaintain, transport, and securely store consigned (demo) equipment in company vehicle, trailer, residence, or approved secure locations.\nCoordinate equipment consignment to contractors or authorized distributors as needed.\nPromptly report changes in consigned equipment status (e.g., sale conversions or storage relocations).\nEnsure company-issued vehicle and trailer are maintained in roadworthy condition and secured during transport.\nMaintain DOT standards and compliance requirements at all times.\nEvents & Brand Representation\nParticipate in national and regional trade shows, industry meetings, and promotional events.\nPromote the full range of Multiquip products, parts, maintenance, and service offerings-engaging additional sales team members when appropriate.\nExercise sound judgment when entertaining customers and submit expenses in accordance with company policies.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Education\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a concrete finisher.\nStrong knowledge of concrete flatwork and finishing procedures.\nExperience using ride-on trowels, screeds, and chemical concrete additives.\nSkills & Abilities\nAbility to travel extensively; overnight travel may be required up to 60% of the time, depending on regional activity.\nStrong presentation and communication skills with the ability to speak effectively with contractors, customers, and internal teams.\nAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.\nExperience writing routine reports and customer documentation.\nComfortable working independently in dynamic job-site environments.\nComputer & Technical Skills\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and related business software.\nAbility to use a laptop and connect remotely for electronic communication and CRM reporting.\nLicenses & Compliance\nValid driver’s license with a good driving record.\nAbility to maintain DOT standards and compliance requirements.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent talking and hearing.\nOccasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, or balancing.\nRegular use of hands for handling equipment and materials.\nAbility to lift and/or move heavy equipment in excess of 100 lbs.\nReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.\nCompensation & Benefits\n$75,000 annual base plus commission \n11 paid holidays\nGenerous PTO - accrue up to 4 weeks per year\nComprehensive benefits starting the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment, including:Medical, Dental & Vision (including orthodontics)\nCompany-paid Life, AD&D, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability\nFlexible Spending Account (FSA), accident plans, and supplemental coverage\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nTuition reimbursement up to $5,250 annually\nMetLife Hyatt Legal \nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n\nMultiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.\nEmployment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
