In this hands-on role, you’ll work from schematics and drawings to wire, terminate, test, and install electrical systems using a variety of hand and power tools.\nIf you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, take pride in precise workmanship, and are comfortable working with electrical systems, this role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to quality power equipment production.\nWhat You’ll Do\nElectrical Assembly & Installation\nPerform electrical assembly and disassembly on generator components and subassemblies.\nRead and interpret work orders, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to determine assembly methods.\nRoute, assemble, and install wiring and electrical components including:Reconnection boards, terminal blocks, controls, bus panels\nRelays, circuit breakers, controllers, CTs, cam-loks\nEngine DC, Generator AC, junction boxes, and main control panels\n\nManufacture or modify custom wiring harnesses to fit equipment specifications.\nCut wire and cable to required lengths.\nCrimp terminals and lugs using hand or machine crimping tools.\nRoute, comb, twist, tie-wrap, solder, and secure wiring according to layout and safety standards.\nTesting & Quality\nConduct functional and continuity testing on electrical assemblies, components, wire harnesses, and plugs using meters and testing instruments.\nAnalyze drawings and schematics to ensure installations meet efficiency and safety standards.\nMaintain high levels of accuracy and workmanship on all assemblies.\nCollaboration & Safety\nCoordinate with team members to complete assemblies and production schedules.\nParticipate in meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings as assigned.\nRequest equipment and supplies as needed to support production and maintain adequate inventory.\nFollow all safety policies and procedures when handling tools, equipment, and machinery.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Qualifications\n1-3 years of electrical assembly experience required.\nAbility to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.\nExperience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to operate forklifts and cranes (or willingness to be trained).\nSkills & Work Style\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.\nAbility to manage time effectively and work under high-pressure production demands.\nComfortable working in tight or awkward positions, including:Overhead reach, forward and lateral reach\nSquatting, twisting, and neck rotation\n\nWillingness to work overtime, including Saturdays.\nPositive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.\nPhysical Requirements\nOccasionally lift 25-50 pounds.\nFrequent carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.\nEstimated time spent:10% sitting\n35% walking\n55% standing\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nCompensation & Benefits\n$20.00/-$22.00/hr\n11 paid Holidays\nGenerous Paid Time Off - accrue up to 4 weeks per year\nExcellent Benefits Package starting the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment, including:Medical, Dental & Vision (including orthodontics)\nCompany-paid Life, AD&D, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability\nFlex Spending Account (FSA), accident plans, and supplemental options\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nTuition Reimbursement up to $5,250 annually\nMetLife Hyatt Legal and AFLAC plans\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nMultiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.\nEmployment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
