In this hands-on role, you'll play a critical part in keeping production moving while operating material handling equipment and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoy operating equipment, and take pride in accuracy and teamwork, we encourage you to apply.\nWhat You'll Do\nLoad and unload materials onto pallets, racks, shelves, trays, and flatbed trucks.\nTransport materials between storage locations, production lines, and designated work areas using scan guns and warehouse management systems (WMS).\nCount, weigh, verify, and document materials handled throughout the shift.\nTag, label, and identify materials and containers for inventory control and traceability.\nStack, bundle, band, and stage materials for storage and shipment.\nSafely operate forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), hoists, and other material-handling equipment.\nLocate, distribute, and stage pallets and temporary storage containers for production needs.\nEmpty cardboard bins and dispose of materials in designated recycling and waste containers.\nPerform and document daily forklift inspections.\nRead and interpret part tags to determine storage locations and next processing steps.\nCommunicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members regarding material needs and inventory status.\nMaintain equipment responsibly while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.\nSupport general warehouse and production activities as assigned.\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance.\nWhat You Bring\nEducation & Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to successfully obtain and maintain Multiquip Forklift Certification.\nPrevious warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.\nCommunication & Interpersonal Skills\nAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers, leads, and supervisors.\nStrong teamwork skills and willingness to support production operations.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.\nTechnical & Operational Skills\nAbility to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, inventory tags, and procedure manuals.\nExperience operating forklifts, hoists, and material handling equipment.\nAbility to interpret bar graphs, diagrams, and workflow instructions.\nUnderstanding of inventory control and material flow processes.\nBasic computer skills and familiarity with scanning devices or warehouse management systems.\nMath & Problem-Solving Skills\nStrong basic math skills.\nAbility to count, verify, and document inventory accurately.\nAbility to apply common-sense reasoning to solve routine operational challenges.\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent standing and walking throughout the workday.\nFrequent use of hands, arms, and manual dexterity.\nOccasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending.\nAbility to regularly lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to stand and work for up to 10 hours per day in a manufacturing environment.\nRequires close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.\nExposure to industrial chemicals including gasoline, diesel, and related materials.\nWork environment may include moderate to high noise levels; hearing protection is required.\nReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.\nCompensation & Benefits\n$19.00/hr-$21.00/hr\n7:00am-3:30pm M-F\n11 paid Holidays\nGenerous Paid Time Off - accrue up to 4 weeks per year\nExcellent Benefits Package starting the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment, including:Medical, Dental & Vision (including orthodontics)\nCompany-paid Life, AD&D, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability\nFlex Spending Account (FSA), accident plans, and supplemental options\n\n401(k) Retirement Plan\nTuition Reimbursement up to $5,250 annually\nMetLife Hyatt Legal plans\nEmployee Assistance Program\nMultiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.\nEmployment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
