In this hands-on role, you’ll perform mid-level assembly work on generators, pumps, concrete mixers, and related equipment, using technical documentation to ensure precision, quality, and safety throughout the build and refurbishment process.\nIf you enjoy working with mechanical systems, take pride in accurate workmanship, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing or refurbishment environment, this role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to high-quality equipment production.\nWhat You’ll Do\nMechanical Assembly & Refurbishment\nAssemble, modify, fit, and align equipment and components using drilling, grinding, mounting, and fastening techniques.\nSupport subassembly builds such as pumps, mixers, trailers, and related equipment.\nClean, lubricate, and maintain parts, components, and subassemblies during the build process.\nApply labels, nameplates, and identifying markings to completed units.\nTechnical Interpretation & Precision Work\nRead and interpret blueprints, assembly instructions, and technical specifications to determine proper methods and build sequences.\nDrill, tap, ream, and countersink holes using hand tools, power tools, and drill presses.\nPerform minor electrical wiring and soldering as required.\nGather, stage, and prepare parts, tools, materials, and subassemblies for assigned work.\nQuality, Inspection & Troubleshooting\nInspect assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.\nIdentify issues, troubleshoot mechanical problems, and make necessary adjustments.\nFollow all quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.\nCollaboration, Safety & Leadership Support\nOperate forklifts, hoists, and small cranes to safely move and position equipment and materials.\nAssist with inventory monitoring and production needs.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.\nParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and safety briefings as assigned.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nPerform other duties as assigned to support operational and production goals.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience & Qualifications\n1+ years of mechanical assembly experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong proficiency with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and small cranes.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.\nWorking knowledge of mechanical systems; minor electrical wiring and soldering experience preferred.\nBasic math skills for measurements, layouts, and calculations.\nSkills & Work Style\nStrong problem-solving skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks.\nComfortable working at heights, on ladders or scaffolding, and in confined spaces.\nPositive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.\nWillingness to work overtime as production demands require.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
