Performs the shipping process, including small parcels (UPS, FedEx), skids (LTL), and larger flat-bed / direct to customer loads\n2. Pulls, stages, and prepares materials and paperwork\n3. Must be able to communicate properly with levels of management\n4. Basic knowledge of loading heavy equipment with a forklift and overhead crane\n5. Assist in developing and executing methods/procedures to improve the Shipping/Receiving process\n6. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor\n7. Regular and predictable attendance is required\nEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: \nHigh School Graduate or Equivalent; three to six months experience in related field in a manufacturing/distribution environment\nExperience with SAP (or similar software) desirable.\nProficient in operating a forklift\nExperience with heavy equipment\nDemonstrated experience in accuracy and attention to detail\nLicenses, Certifications and Registrations:\nForklift certification is required.\nPhysical Requirements: \nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
