In this role, you’ll use your welding skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety to fabricate and assemble structural components that keep our customers moving.\nStarting at $21.00 / hour plus $2.00/hour shift bonus\nWhat You’ll Do \nInterpret layout drawings, welding diagrams, and work orders to plan daily tasks\nSet up equipment and prepare work area for welding operations\nLay out, position, align, and fit components in jigs/fixtures\nTack, weld, and assemble components using flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead techniques\nInspect welds for bead size, quality, and accuracy; perform pressure tests\nGrind, chip, or smooth welds to meet specifications\nUse tools such as chop saws, plasma cutters, torches, and belt sanders\nRepair and rework metal components-including straightening, reshaping, dismantling, and reassembling\nChange gas cylinders and weld wire as needed\nSafely operate forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), power buggies, hoists, and scissor lifts\nMaintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance\nWhat You’ll Need\nAbility to pass the Multiquip Welder Certification test within 3 months of hire\nStrong welding skills with experience in multiple welding positions\nFamiliarity with fabrication tools and equipment\nCommitment to safety, quality, and teamwork\nPhysical Requirements\nRegularly required to stand and walk; frequently use hands and arms\nOccasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch\nAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly\nAble to stand for up to 10 hours in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nVisual abilities include close, peripheral, and depth perception\nExposure to weld gas, cleaners, spatter spray, and other chemicals\nLoud work environment-hearing protection required\nCompensation & Benefits\n$21.00 / Hour plus $2.00 / hour shift bonus\n$2.00 / hour increase upon passing weld certification at 90 days\n9 paid holidays \nGenerous Paid Time Off - accruing at 4 weeks per year\nPaid Volunteer Time Off\nPaid Parental Leave\nComprehensive benefits package beginning the 1st of the month after 30 days, including:Medical, Dental, Vision\nLife & Disability Insurance\nFlexible Spending Accounts\nAccidental, Critical Illness & Hospital Indemnity Insurance\nLegal Insurance\n\n 401(k) with discretionary company match\n Tuition Reimbursement up to $5,250/year\nEmployee Referral Program\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nMultiquip provides competitive pay and benefits and supports our employees through our values of safety, integrity and respect.\nEmployment is subject to pre-employment physical, drug-screening and background investigation.
