They will analyze cost differences between manufacturing options, track cost trends, and provide recommendations for cost improvements. Responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \nPerform month end duties to ensure a proper and timely close of inventory. \nParticipates in month end close activities, including creating journal entries and reconciling inventory.\nPrepare and analyze monthly cost variance and inventory reports.\nAnalyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies\nMonitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply plans to ensure product availability\nSupport demand planning and inventory optimization initiatives\nAnalyze results and provide recommendations to management to monitor division performance and control operating costs. This includes partnering with operations to support their initiatives. \nPrepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by business partners.\nSupport financial and internal audit requests.\nMaintain a thorough, accurate and complete record of actual and expected product cost.\nExecute monthly cost rollup in ERP system and highlight reasons for cost changes.\nTrack, report out and interpret costing trends to help leadership understand business impact and plan accordingly.\nSupport system automation changes and upgrades. \n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: \n\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
