This role sits within the Munich Re Specialty Group (MRSG), a division of Munich Re that focuses on Primary Specialty Insurance.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently processing Vendor invoices, reconcile Vendor sub-ledger on a regular basis to statements of account, effectively liaise with Vendors as appropriate and process effectively and efficiently the internal employee expense processes providing an effective service.\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible of processing purchase invoices in line with the company’s policy, including checking cost centre and General ledger coding to ensure accurate reporting. Using Coupa P2P system.\nPrepare, process and record payment runs.\nDeal with internal and supplier queries relating to invoices and payments,\nClear vendor and discrepancies balances.\nDealing with employee expense claims. Reviewing all high risk receipts, ensuring all expense claims are in line with the Company’s expense policy.\nMonthly & quarterly reconciliations, including Bank, control accounts, vendor, credit cards (Audit File),\nProducing intercompany invoices, posting them to SAP ledger. Ensuring funds received in line with payment terms.\nClear customer and discrepancies balances.\nOpening & closing employee Corporate credit cards.\nEnsure that the internal control mandates are up to date with all appropriate signatures obtained,\nComplete and development monthly/quarterly KPI schedules with appropriate analysis and commentary,\nEnsure that inter group balances are reconciled\nEnsure all AP processes are documented effectively, detailing areas of financial judgement,\nPursue accounts payable process improvements, creating more robust controls and driving efficiencies,\nAssist in other areas of the team where appropriate and any other ad-hoc task as assigned,\nAssist the Senior FP&A Accountant with ad-hoc projects.\nHelp drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.\nKnowledge and Skills\nKnowledge of banking portals \nDouble entry knowledge\nIntermediate Excel skills\nAble to work in a fast paced environment\nGood communication skills\nAttention to detail\nAble to work independently and be a team player\nIf you are excited about this role but your experience does not align perfectly with everything outlined, or you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway.
