The prime responsibility is to assist the Director of Global Safety in managing the Corporate Safety Program.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and support engineering equipment programs including but not limited to the following:Personal dosimeter radiation monitoring program \nPPE\nRespirator \nFall Protection\nConfined space monitors\nOther current and future equipment needs\n\nConduct training classes both live and virtually including: driver, new hire, refresher, equipment specific and other specific training Assist in the develop of content for training presentations and learning materials\nWork with other departments to develop on-line learning options\n\nSupporting, coordinating and reporting on Corporate Safety Metrics \nConduct safety contract reviews and assist with the completion of site access safety questionnaires\nConduct and support injury/illness and near miss investigations including becoming RCA qualified to conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations\nReview and finalize OSHA logs\nSupporting and coordinating site access requirements including drug tests, site specific safety training and other safety specific requirements\nManage safety equipment inventory and ordering processes\nAssist with and monitor the data entry into our safety database to maintain accurate records\nWork with the Safety Team to meet \nKey Responsibilities:\nEssential\nSeveral years working experience in an industrial setting. \nWorking experience with OSHA regulations; additional regulatory/industry affiliated bodies preferred\nExperience to include international safety, confined space entry of boilers and/or pressure vessels, contract management, fleet and exposure control\nDesirable\nGood presentation skills including ability to build training presentations and work with international audiences\nAnalyze local and industry safety trends for the purpose of adjusting internal safety programs to meet new threats\nAdditional Skills and Responsibilities\nAbility to prepare clear, concise and informative written communications.\nAbility to work independently and with a team to develop and deliver safety programs and trainings\nWillingness to travel extensively, including international destinations\nExcellent customer service skills demonstrated by listening, taking ownership, following up and providing positive customer interaction with global clients\nQualifications & Educational Requirements:\nBS in Industrial Safety or related field or comparable work experience\nCertified OSHA 500 and 501 instructor, Certified Defensive Driving Instructor to be obtained within first year of employment\nAssociate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional designation, preferred\nDiversity, Equity & Inclusion\nAt HSB, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion foster innovation and resilience and enable us to act braver and better.
