Data Analytics LH1.4.4 is the regional analysis centre for Continental Europe, excluding Spain, Portugal and Italy but including Israel, and is responsible for the development and implementation of data and AI strategies, biometric insights and knowledge modelling for the aforementioned markets, covering a large number of cedants and hundreds of active reinsurance contracts.\nYour Job\nCollaborate with data experts and business units to enable data driven life reinsurance business and implement our data strategy\nSupport design, implementation and operations of the IT infrastructure and data management systems \nWork hands-on with our (re-) insurance portfolio data and data pools\nLearn and support the data analyses of the incoming data files (“exploratory data analysis”) to discover data patterns - understand, visualize and summarize the data\nContribute to better data quality with your analysis, implementing data validations and quality reports discovering oddities and outliers\nLearn about data privacy and regulatory frameworks in the (re)insurance industry\nYour Profile\nStudy in computer science, mathematics or similar qualification\nGood analytical and statistical skills combined with first experiences in programming and tools like Python or the willingness to learn these tools\nFirst contacts with data warehousing and management as well experience with SQL\nCommand of Microsoft office tools, experience with PowerBI desired\nHigh level of motivation paired with capacity to take first responsibility and work independently\nVery good written and spoken German and English\nEager to learn about data processes and the impact of data on life (re-) insurance business\nStudents from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit.
