You will design and implement low-level drivers, secure communication protocols, cryptographic modules, and flash bootloaders. Your expertise will be critical in establishing robust and scalable software architectures that underpin the functionality and security of our battery systems. Your role will involve working deeply on the software foundations, enabling higher-level functionalities and ensuring system integrity and reliability.\nYour Future Tasks at a Glance\nDesign and develop low-level embedded software, including drivers, secure communication stacks, crypto modules, and flash bootloaders.\n\nPerform hardware bring-up and validation.\n\nLeading architectural design efforts, ensuring scalability and robustness of the software systems.\n\nConducting thorough code reviews with a focus on low-level implementation, security, and clean coding practices.\n\nMaintain and optimize the performance of our existing codebase.\n\nDevelop and integrateautomotive diagnostics functionality within embedded systems.\n\nIntegrate software modules, considering real-time capabilities and efficient resource management.\n\nEnsure software development adheres to necessary automotive safety standards, such as ISO26262, ASPICE, and ISO21434.\n\nIntegrate software builds, deployment, and testing into the CI/CD tool landscape.\n\nWhat you bring with you\nSuccessfully completed a university degree in an engineering field (software, robotics, electronics, mechanical), math or applied physics.\n\nProven experience in managing complex software projects, with a focus onlow-level system development and architecture..\n\nHands-on working experience in software engineering in C++ (version 11 and later), including STL algorithms and containers and unit testing.\n\nExperience working with AUTOSAR configuration tools in automotive embedded systems.\n\nDeep experience withflash bootloaders, board bring-ups, and writing assembly language.\n\nStrong knowledge of security concepts and cryptographic algorithms, with practical application experience.\n\nSolid exposure to electronics, including debugging with Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers, and reading schematics.\n\nExperience working withautomotive norms such as ISO26262, ASPICE, and ISO21434.\n\nFamiliarity with different communication protocols such as: CAN, LIN, SPI, ISOSPI, Ethernet, J1939 or Odx\n\nKnowledge of microcontrollers and relevant tools (AURIX Tricore, TI Hercules, NXP S32).\n\nCreative mindset and a strong passion for innovative electronic solutions in the electric vehicle industry.\n\nStrong team collaboration skills and excellent communication abilities inEnglish.\n\nAble to be onsite in our offices at least 2-3x a week\n\nOur Offer & Benefits\nThe chance to be part of a highly innovative, agile, and unique team with prestigious customers in the automotive and battery storage sector.
