Projects will be internally resourced but may require third parties to be managed as part of the overall delivery\nProduce a Charter for each project based upon the agreed scope, define the budget, identify the resources, create the schedule, outline the approach and suggest the sequencing of work required to execute the project effectively\nDrive the delivery of their projects with predictable consistency, efficiency and success, ensuring overall compliance with IT-internal requirements and smooth transition of the resulting solution into production\nManaging vendor relationships and the effective utilization of resources on each project, minimising use of external onshore and offshore resources, and ensuring the timely onboarding and offboarding of those resources when tasks are completed\nTo establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders and act as the key point of contact for the project\nIdentify issues/risks, analyse options and manage impacts to mitigate project delays and take appropriate action to keep the project on track, leveraging support from key stakeholders and/or management as required\nManage, monitor and report progress against milestones and budgets, ensuring consistent and transparent communications are provided to Management and Executive Leadership\nEnsure all project costs (actuals) are actively tracked and managed, including SOWs/Purchase Orders, contracts, internal resource assignments, and ensure accurate forecasts and accruals are maintained in SAP and Clarity\nCoordinate the completion of all documentation, project plans, change requests, approvals, lifecycle steps and compliance gate requests in a timely manner to ensure the project continues to align with the agreed schedule\nKnowledge and Skills\nAt least 5 to 7 years+ of experience in successfully managing the delivering of IT infrastructure, workplace or application projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment, ideally in a global Finance/Insurance or regulated industry\nAble to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation\nAbility to lead and direct the project under a unified project lens without compromising business outcomes and priority constraints\nAbility to work in complex organisation structures and tenaciously forge a path for delivery resulting in delivery\nExcellent communication skills, strong experience in managing the diverging interests of various stakeholders\nProven ability to create meaningful reports and summarise project health status for stakeholder presentations\nProven ability to manage and track project costs and budgets to agreed baselines\nAbility to drive a mixture of functional and geographic workstreams and co-ordinate step change delivery to the business in a unified way\nConsulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing \nA self-motivated individual able to work with varying organisational and geographic styles to the end goal of unifying and standardising the delivery culture and capability\nExperience of developing less experienced PM’s, of setting an example of behaviours and standards and helping build high performing teams\nFluent spoken and written English\nIf you are excited about this role but your experience does not align perfectly with everything outlined, or you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway.
