The ideal candidate is a seasoned identity and access management (IAM) professional with a strong background in Okta. In this role you will own authentication and authorization across the organization-spanning SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints-while architecting scalable, secure identity solutions that keep pace with our rapidly growing company. You will focus on identity and access management, including access request workflows and access review systems, and help design authorization models that enforce our access restrictions for CUI, EAR, and ITAR data. Experience with Active Directory is a plus.\nThis position is onsite and requires working in our San Jose, CA office five days a week.\nResponsibilities\nOwn authentication across the organization, including SaaS applications, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints.\nArchitect and continuously evolve our Okta environment to fit our needs while retaining the flexibility required by a fast-growing company.\nDesign authorization models for each system that grant access on a least-privilege, as-needed basis.\nBuild and maintain access request workflows and access review systems to streamline provisioning and periodic access certifications.\nDefine and enforce access restrictions that protect CUI, EAR, and ITAR-controlled data.\nAdminister and integrate identity across Okta, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.\nManage identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.\nPartner with IT, Security, and business teams to align identity and access management with compliance and operational requirements.\nQualifications\n5+ years of IT experience.\nHands-on experience with Okta and identity management.\nExperience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.\nExperience with Google Workspace administration.\nExperience managing identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.\nStrong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access governance, including access requests and access reviews.\nProactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.\nNice-to-have Skills\nExperience supporting U.S. Government programs.\nExperience with CUI data handling.\nExperience with EAR/ITAR-controlled data handling.\nActive or eligible for a U.S. security clearance.\nSalary\nThe salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package.
