# Senior Software Engineer, Test Infrastructure

About the role Muon seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Test team. An ideal candidate is an expert in software testing processes, an accomplished software tool developer, and experienced with Hardware-in-the-Loop and Simulations driven testing. In this role, you will be a major contributor to the best-practices and architecture of our software testing infrastructure. You will work with engineers across our department to implement testing policy and deliver testing capabilities, improving our velocity and ability to launch successful missions. This position is based at our San Jose, CA office. Responsibilities Build and support in-house software testing infrastructure, including hardware testbed capabilities as well as simulated test scenarios. Break down complex technical goals into detailed and well-explained proposals. Integrate feedback from client teams to drive iterative improvements to our testing tools and procedures. Expand test coverage by developing novel off-nominal test scenarios. Work closely with the Simulations team to integrate simulation tools into automated testing campaigns.
