This is a 1st shift, Monday through Friday role open to candidates with hands-on lab testing and color matching experience. If you have been doing quality or lab work on a rotating schedule and want straight days at better pay, this is worth a conversation.\nThe Schedule\nMonday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. No evenings. No weekends.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nThis is a lab and quality role, not a production floor position. You will be the technical resource the production team calls when a batch needs evaluation or adjustment.\nTest production batches against customer and internal specifications and determine pass/hold/adjust disposition\n\nRecommend and develop adjustments to batches that do not meet specifications\n\nTest incoming raw materials and verify supplier Certificates of Analysis\n\nComplete and issue COA documentation to customers\n\nRecord all test results and maintain reference files in SAP\n\nVerify calibration and accuracy of gauges and test equipment\n\nParticipate in complaint investigations and corrective action processes as needed\n\nFollow all safety rules and PPE requirements throughout the shift\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED\n\n1 year of color matching experience - spectrophotometer or colorimeter operation, evaluating color against a master standard, and making or recommending adjustments\n\n1 year of quality or lab testing experience in a manufacturing environment\n\n1 year of production experience to understand the floor context your testing supports\n\nExperience recording quality data in SAP or a comparable ERP or LIMS system\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and work in an industrial environment with required PPE\n\nReliable transportation to Holden, MA -
