If you are a quality professional who owns a system rather than just monitors it, this is worth a conversation.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn and maintain the AS9100 quality management system including internal audits, corrective action programs, and certification compliance\n\nLead First Article Inspection (FAI) and AS9102 documentation processes from initiation through customer approval\n\nServe as the primary point of contact for customer quality escapes, corrective action requests, and quality surveillance visits\n\nOversee CMM inspection and measurement programs, ensuring dimensional conformance to customer specifications and GD&T callouts\n\nDevelop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection records\n\nPartner with production, engineering, and purchasing to drive continuous improvement and prevent recurrence of quality issues\n\nBuild and develop the quality team as the department scales\n\nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of progressive quality experience in a precision machining, aerospace, or defense manufacturing environment\n\nDemonstrated ownership of an AS9100 quality management system - not just familiarity, but hands-on administration and audit responsibility\n\nStrong GD&T and blueprint reading capability\n\nCMM experience, either hands-on or in an oversight capacity\n\nDirect experience responding to customer corrective action requests and managing quality escapes\n\nIATF 16949, NADCAP, or aerospace supplier quality experience is a meaningful differentiator\n\nWhy This Move Makes Sense\nYou are not stepping into a fully built quality function.
