You’ll be part of one global team where you can learn fast and stay true to yourself.\nJob Responsibilities\nDevelop hands-on knowledge of capital markets workflows, with a focus on either Foreign Exchange or Fixed Income products. \nComplete an onboarding program covering financial markets, financial products, and the MX.3 platform before joining a project team. \nAnalyze business and functional challenges faced by financial institutions and translate business requirements into practical MX.3 solutions. \nSupport implementation or client support activities, including requirements analysis, solution configuration, functional testing, validation of new functionality, and investigation of client issues. \nValidate trading, valuation, and risk management workflows and analyze results to confirm that solutions meet documented business requirements. \nParticipate in client support or project and collaborate with consultants, subject matter experts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and propose appropriate solutions. \nContribute to client-facing initiatives for leading financial institutions and communicate findings clearly to technical and business audiences. \nResearch innovative topics at the intersection of finance, quantitative analysis, risk management, and technology. \nWho you are\nEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative discipline.\nExperience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in trading, capital markets, financial services, or financial technology. Relevant internships, academic projects, or practical experience are also valued.\nFinancial Markets Knowledge: Foundational understanding of financial markets and instruments, including derivatives, swaps, bonds, foreign exchange, and interest-rate products.\nAnalytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex problems, interpret information, and develop practical solutions.\nLearning Agility: Ability and curiosity to quickly learn new financial, functional, and technical concepts and apply them to real-world business challenges.\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics and communicate clearly to both business and technical audiences.\nClient Orientation: Genuine interest in working with clients, understanding their business needs, and building trusted relationships.\nCollaboration & Autonomy: Team-oriented and collaborative, while comfortable taking ownership and working independently when required.\nOrganization & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\n Motivation: Strong interest in capital markets, financial technology, and understanding how financial products are traded, valued, and risk-managed.\nAt Murex, we believe in providing equal opportunities for all employees and job applicants.
