We blend design excellence with cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional client value, and as a certified Great Place to Work®, we embrace progress and innovation to create limitless opportunities for career growth.\nAs part of Woolpert, Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company contributes deep geospatial expertise across Europe, supporting complex infrastructure, property, manufacturing, utilities, and natural-environment projects through world-class data capture, verification, and governance.\nPosition Overview\nOur Subsurface Engineering department, based in Corkis rapidly growing and because of this, we are delighted to commence the hiring process to bring onAssistant Utility Surveyorsto join our team.\nMurphy Geospatial have introduced innovative and alternative methods to assist in difficult and unusual engineering surveys and investigations, offering clients specially trained survey teams who can undertake specialist surveys, combining 3D deliverables with consultative recommendations.\nWe have been involved in projects such as Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, Luas Cross City in Dublin, Swords BRT Scheme, Cork Main Drainage Scheme and the Galway to Mayo Gas pipeline and are currently working on many high profile and exciting projects across the country.\nWhat You Will Do\nWorking with cutting-edge surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS and Data Collectors and using modern methods to provide critical information to assist our clients in decision making.\nAccurately recording underground utility data to provide to Senior Utility Surveyors for client reporting.\nBuilding and maintaining client relationships ensuring we deliver projects to exact client requirements.\nAssisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.\nAny other duties as required by the business.\nWhat You Will Bring\nPrevious experience working within the surveying industry would be beneficial, however we will also consider those with civil engineering and construction experience.\nFetac QQI Level 5 qualification or higher (in accordance with the National Framework of Qualifications).\nExperience in the use of electromagnetic detection and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) would be advantageous but not essential\nExcellent communication skills and ability to provide feedback to clients\nPossess the right to work in Ireland.\nFlexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.\nPossess a full clean Irish or EU driving license.\nKey Attributes\nExcellent planning and organisation skills.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with team members and on own initiative.\nBenefits You Will Love\nAt Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
