You’ll lead our Operations Managers across the UK, taking ownership of resource planning, utilisation, operational performance, project delivery and financial performance across multiple teams.\nA major focus will be ensuring we use our people and resources effectively across the business, balancing workloads between teams, improving chargeable utilisation and supporting successful project delivery.\nYou’ll also act as the primary operational escalation point, making decisions, resolving challenges and driving improvements without needing day-to-day direction.\nWhat You Will Do\nLead and support Operations Managers across our UK Survey & Digital Engineering teams.\nTake ownership of resource planning and utilisation, balancing workloads across teams to maximise capacity and productivity.\nOversee operational performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.\nDrive strong commercial and financial performance, including revenue, margins, forecasting and project profitability.\nAct as a senior escalation point for operational and client issues, taking ownership of resolutions and recovery plans.\nWork closely with Sales and Finance to align project pipeline, resources and future capacity requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency and consistency across teams.\nBuild a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, while supporting the development and retention of our people.\nWhat You Will Bring\nAt least 3 years’ experience in a senior operations or management position.\nStrong experience managing resources and utilisation across multiple teams or departments.\nGood commercial and financial understanding, including budgets, forecasting, WIP and project profitability.\nExperience overseeing project delivery and resolving operational and client challenges.\nStrong stakeholder and client management skills.\nAn understanding of health, safety, quality and technical standards.\nA degree or relevant professional experience within surveying, engineering, construction or a related discipline would be advantageous.\nThe ability to travel to UK offices, project sites and client locations when required.\nThe right to work in the UK and fluent English language skills.\nBenefits You Will Love\nAt Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
