The role will involve working across a variety of infrastructure, construction and built-environment projects, using a combination of traditional surveying techniques and 3D laser scanning.\nWhat You Will Do\nCarrying out topographical, engineering, control and as-built surveys\nUsing Total Stations, GNSS/RTK equipment and 3D laser scanning technology\nSupporting engineering surveying and setting-out activities\nEstablish, maintain and verify survey control networks, datums and coordinate systems.\nUnderstand point cloud registration and processing workflows sufficiently to ensure data captured on site is suitable for downstream processing.\nPlanning and delivering survey fieldwork to meet project requirements\nCapturing accurate, high-quality survey data across a range of projects\nCollaborating with Geospatial Engineering, CAD, BIM and Digital Engineering teams\nSupport junior surveyors and less experienced team members where appropriate.\nMaintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality on-site\nWhat You Will Bring\nQualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience\nProficiency with Total Stations and GNSS/RTK surveying equipment\nExperience undertaking terrestrial laser scanning surveys\nGood understanding of survey control, traversing, coordinate systems, datums and survey accuracy.\nStrong understanding of field QA/QC and the ability to identify missing or potentially inaccurate data before leaving site.\nAbility to work independently and manage field operations effectively\nExperience within construction, infrastructure or the built environment\nThe right to work in the UK\nFlexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients\nPossess a full clean manual driving license\nBenefits You Will Love\nAt Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
