Kildare with an emphasis on survey control establishment, control network analysis, traversing and post-processing.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile, large-scale semi-conductor project in a mission-critical environment, where precision and innovation are key. This role offers excellent exposure to cutting-edge surveying technology and processes within the rapidly evolving Geospatial industry.\nYou will work closely with a supportive team of professionals, reporting to the Geospatial Manager, and will be based in our Leixlip/Dublin office.\nWhat You Will Do\nWorking as part of a team and on occasion lone-working on surveying projects in a field-based role using a variety of specialised equipment and technology, including but not limited to;Working with modern survey methods and survey devices such as total stations, Reality Capture Scanners\nEstablishing survey controls, setting out gridlines & datums, levelling, traversing and scanning using the latest Leica technology.\nRecord surveying information accurately and consistently on site to the agreed specification and scope\nAssisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.\nPreparation of setout files and reporting on completed works.\n\nEnsuring that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.\nDelivering to company policies, procedures, standards and best practices.\nAny other duties as required by the business.\nWhat You Will Bring\nMust be self-sufficient in terms of travel to and from the workplace\nSafe Pass certified\nA minimum of 3 year’s survey experience\nProficient in spoken and written English\nDegree in survey related field (desirable but not essential)\nExperience with StarNet or equivalent control network adjustment / post-processing software (highly desirable).\nStrong understanding of survey control establishment, measurement, control traversing, monitoring and post-processing techniques.\nExperience with AutoCad (desirable but not essential)\nFull EU/ Irish Drivers’ licence (desirable but not essential)\nWillingness and ability to travel and work across Europe as needed, subject to the achievement of specific career development milestones\nKey Attributes\nAbility to work as part of a team or independently, follow instructions and be innovative. \nSet high standards and be confident in their abilities\nExcellent communication skills\nAssist in the mentoring of junior/ assistant level staff.\nLeadership skills\nAbility to work well under pressure.\nAn understanding of the principles of surveying with particular focus on control traversing and post-processing.\nBenefits You Will Love\nAt Murphy Geospatial - A Woolpert Company, you’ll join a collaborative and innovative team where your expertise makes a real impact.
