Muse Group's products - spanning learning, playing, creating, publishing, and buying music - reach over 100 million musicians, creators, teachers, and music lovers worldwide. Today these are strong but standalone products. Our next chapter is to turn them into one connected ecosystem, where a person moves naturally between learning, playing, practicing, creating and where each product makes the others stronger. The goal is simple: the portfolio should be worth more to the user together than each product on its own.
We are looking for a Chief Product Officer to lead that chapter. This is a mandate to build, not to maintain. Few places in the industry combine this much audience, this much love for the products, and this much still-unwritten product architecture on top of them. You get a rare mix: a ready audience of 100M+, deep content libraries, one of the strongest organic platforms in music, and a clean sheet to assemble it into a connected product. We are starting AI almost from zero, not optimizing an existing layer, so what AI-native means for Muse is yours to define. And all of it is about music and musicians, not product management as an end in itself.
This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in Europe or Cyprus.
Key responsibilities
Group product strategy. Where the portfolio goes; where products stay independent, where they share capabilities, where connecting them creates new value. From priorities to a coherent roadmap, investment model, and product architecture.
One ecosystem for musicians. The connective layer - shared identity, personalization, content portability, cross-product discovery, shared libraries. You make the transitions between products natural and mutually reinforcing.
A North Star for each product - and for the group. For every product, one measure of the real value it creates for the user. And as products connect, a single North Star for the whole ecosystem. This is the compass teams steer by.
The customer lifecycle. You own the whole arc - from first touch to lasting habit: how people arrive, activate, come back, get more value, and stay. We judge product success by that, not by short-term conversion. Monetization strengthens the user relationship instead of working against it.
AI-native product. Define what AI changes in learning, practice, creation, search, and discovery, and build a focused portfolio of AI initiatives with real user value - a product, not a set of demos.
The team and its leaders. Build an exceptional global product organization and grow strong product leaders under each product, so the team is durable, not dependent on one person.
Required experience
An established product leader who has worked at portfolio or ecosystem level, not a single product, and who combines strategic range with closeness to users, data, and product quality.
Led consumer products, platforms, or digital ecosystems at significant scale.
A demonstrated record of growing retention, engagement, and user value.
Systems thinking - can assemble an architecture across products, users, and data.
Grew strong product leaders instead of keeping decisions to themselves.
What matters to us:
We are looking for someone who thinks in outcomes for the user and the business, not roadmap length; who can protect a product's long-term value from the pull of short-term monetization; who builds a team instead of carrying it alone. The opposite stops us: success measured by feature velocity, treating AI as a tool rollout, and an inability to work without a fully prescribed process.
