You are a self-motivated, highly process-driven leader who has managed builds and multi-department stakeholders through occupancy. This role is perfect for applicants passionate about experiential design and hands-on delivery within the world of themed experiences and entertainment, who want full breadth across a project, from early conceptual planning through the fine details of turnover, and who thrive holding multiple department leads accountable to one shared timeline and budget.\nYour Day-to-Day:\nOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the Development department. \nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, budgets, and schedules. \nLead and coordinate project teams, including external consultants and contractors to achieve project goals. \nCreate a strong, data informed automated project cycle tracker, utilizing AI and up to date software tools to track budgets, dependencies, workflows etc.\nSupervise development and maintenance of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. \nMonitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to address deviations from the plan. \nManage stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly. \nPrepare and review project documentation, including contracts, budgets, change orders and reports utilizing strong data analysis and AI.\nIdentify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes. \nSupport cross department communications, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. \nThe monthly rate for this role is up to $14,000/month dependent on experience, with a potential conversion to fulltime after six months of employment.\nRequirements\nThe Necessities:\nMaster's degree in Architecture \nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification \nAbility to travel up to 40% of the time, including extended embedded assignments in Orlando and Los Angeles \n10-20 years of experience in architecture, including construction administration \nExperience managing projects through design, construction, occupancy, and turnover \nDemonstrated stakeholder and budget management across architects, general contractors, designers, and operations teams \nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera, and the ability to review Rhino models \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills \nStrong organizational skills and experience using digital collaboration tools (Google Workspace, project management platforms, etc.) \nAbility to manage multiple concurrent priorities while balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution \nAbility to make sound, data-informed decisions in the best interest of the business\nThe Nice-to-Haves:\nExperience working either in-house or within an architecture/design agency \nExperience with ArcGIS \nExperience delivering temporary or permanent immersive entertainment, themed attractions, museums, experiential retail, or similar story-driven environments \nDemonstrated experience building or optimizing project workflows, operational processes, or delivery pipelines \nStrong AI fluency, including leveraging AI to improve design, documentation, project management, or operational workflows \nTrack record of developing creative solutions to complex problems \nComfortable challenging existing processes and driving continuous improvement \nEntrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and experimentation\nMuseum of Ice Cream is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity at our company.
