Dense, generic, admin-heavy, and built for process more than delight. Meanwhile, the best product companies have raised everyone’s expectations for what business software can feel like: fast, opinionated, elegant, and genuinely useful.\nAI gives us a chance to rebuild the category from first principles.\nMutiny is building the agentic GTM platform that helps revenue teams create the work they need to win. Sellers and marketers should not have to wait on five internal teams to move a deal forward. They should have a bench of AI teammates that understands the account, knows what good looks like, and gets sharper every week. We’re looking for a founding staff designer to define what that feels like.\nThis is not a role where you plug into a mature design system, clean product rituals, or a settled category. You’ll help invent the product language for AI-native GTM software: the interaction model, the creative standards, the feedback loops, the system, and the taste bar for what the agent produces.\nThe design problem\nOur job is to make AI output that a great seller, marketer, or designer would actually be proud to put in front of a million-dollar account. That requires more than a chat box. It requires data, memory, taste, brand intelligence, workflow design, and a UI simple enough for every rep to use daily but powerful enough to support an entire revenue motion.\nSome of the questions you’ll help answer\nHow should a seller direct an agent without becoming the agent’s project manager?\n\nHow do we make generated work feel on-brand without making it dull?\n\nWhat does editing look like when the object is not a static page, but an intelligent system that can regenerate, revise, explain, and learn?\n\nHow do we give users confidence and control without burying them in settings?\n\nHow do we turn taste into a system the product can improve over time?\n\nWhat you’ll work on\nProduct surfaces and flows\nDesign focused parts of Mutiny’s product experience: creating assets, reviewing AI output, editing generated work, managing brand guidance, and helping users get from idea to finished work faster. You’ll work closely with senior design, product, and engineering, but your work will ship.\nVisual quality\nMake the product feel sharper, clearer, and more polished. This could mean improving layouts, hierarchy, typography, spacing, empty states, generated assets, or the small details that make software feel excellent.\nSystems and patterns\nHelp build the components and reusable patterns that let the product move faster without becoming messy. You don’t need to have led a design system before, but you should be excited to think beyond one screen at a time.\nAI-native interactions\nExplore new UI patterns for working with agents, generated content, flexible canvases, and product experiences that learn from user preferences over time. You’ll help us figure out what feels intuitive, powerful, and not like every other chat-based AI product.\nWho you are\nWe're looking for a designer who embodies the following\nEarly career, high slope. You might be a new grad or a few years into your career. What matters most is that you learn unusually fast, care deeply about the work, and show signs of becoming excellent.\n\nComfortable making reasonable decisions. You don’t need perfect information before moving forward. You ask good questions, use judgment, and can make progress even when the path is not fully defined.\n\nStrong product instincts. You care about how the thing works, not just how it looks. You notice when a flow feels confusing, when an AI output feels generic, when a screen is trying to do too much, or when a detail actually matters.\n\nFast, open, and coachable. You show work early, take feedback seriously, and come back with something better. You want to be pushed, and you want to get very good.\n\nEnergized by the pace. We work in person in New York City, five days a week, and the product is moving quickly. The right person will find that intense, clarifying, and fun.\n\nThis role is probably not for you\nIf these are the things that make you excited\nYou want a mature design org with established rituals and clean handoffs.\n\nYou prefer to receive scoped requirements rather than shape the problem.\n\nYou believe business software just needs to be usable.\n\nYou are interested in AI as a feature, but not as a new material for designing software.\n\nYou want remote-first work. We work together in person in New York City because the product is being invented through fast loops between design, engineering, founders, customers, and the product itself.\n\nWhy Mutiny\nMutiny relaunched in April as an agent-first platform for GTM teams. Anthropic has showcased Mutiny as a leader in AI GTM, and customers including Uber, Rippling, Snowflake, GitLab, and Figma use Mutiny to create customer-facing work faster.\nWe’re backed by Sequoia, YC, Insight, and world-class GTM operators. More importantly, we’re building for a moment when the shape of work is changing fast and the design patterns have not been settled yet.\nIf you want to help define what high-taste AI software feels like for revenue teams, this is that seat.","description_format":"text","description_chars":5259,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Marketing Automation","Digital Marketing","Marketing & Sales AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-08-30T15:19:08Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 1","filings_12m":1,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":222500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":27,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.364,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":51,"expected_fill_days":61,"reasons":["conf:2","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-10-17T05:46:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/mutiny-product-designer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/mutiny-product-designer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-17T06:48:53Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":9370,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-18T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":63397},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=63397"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fmutiny-product-designer"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fmutiny-product-designer"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fmutiny-product-designer"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/mutiny-product-designer\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fmutiny-product-designer"}]}
