arelooking to strengthen our Operations team with a Waste Water Programme Manager based in Falmer with hybrid working available.\nYou will report directly to the Waste Programme Director and your role will Oversee, lead and support on a program of work including Construction and Delivery Leads and Site Managers, to support the design phase and manage the construction, commissioning phases, by setting up contracts and ensuring they are completed in the most efficient manner to the specification, within the time required and within the tender estimate without risk to the health and safety of all concerned while ensuring good customer satisfaction.\nKey responsibilities will include:\nResponsible for the overall performance of the projects including contract staffing, supporting the hand-over from design phase to project delivery and for setting overall contract strategy.\nHave detailed working knowledge and experience of project management practices from scheme conception through to end user acceptance\nResponsible for overall health & safety and reporting to the monthly project management meeting.\nOffers support, advice and guidance to the Construction and Delivery Leads on all aspects of the contract, and lends assistance with solving problems as required.\nResponsible for staff training and development.\nResponsible for maintaining Client relations, resolving Client-related problems and developing opportunities for further business.\nPromote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to direct and subcontracted work force\nMaintain the Company’s reputation on a project by ensuring good relationships are maintained with joint venture partners and suppliers.\nEnsuring, in conjunction with the Design Manager, that an adequate Technical, Safety and Environmental review is carried out for each project to ensure successful delivery\nEnsuring that sufficient trained personnel are available for the project and that they are aware of their individual responsibilities\nEnsuring that the respective Construction and Delivery Leads / Site Managers are carrying out appropriate reviews and approvals of all MS / RA and Construction delivery plans to support the H&S requirements.\nEnsuring works procedures are produced to assist with control quality where applicable\nEnsuring that all site non-conformities are reported and approximate costs identified\nEnsure all commercial aspects of the project are managed in a timely and proactive way giving accurate forecast and estimates\nUnderstanding and implementing the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets\nBeing aware of the need to satisfy customer requirements with the aim of enhancing the customers’ perception and satisfaction\nMaintain an appropriate practical knowledge and appreciation of all technical disciplines associated with delivering water and waste water design and build projects.\nMaintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.\nUndertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role\nIn all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.\nQualifications\nEssential:\nProject Management experience in a variety of project sizes and complexity\nDegree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.\nAPMP or equivalent\nExcellent oral and written communicator with the ability to work in close partnership with clients and end users.\nMust be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver to time, cost and quality objectives.\nExtensive experience in large scale infrastructure project delivery\nStrategic, operational, technical and management skills\nExperience in waste water infrastructure\nDesirable:\nExperience in waste water infrastructure\nExperience in using Primavera or Power project.\nChartered or near chartered in a construction discipline\nWorking knowledge of construction Health &
