Plans, directs and coordinates activities of assigned projects for designated IT or Business area, to ensure that goals and approved scope are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Develops, manages and coordinates project plans of different degrees of complexity. Manages a detailed work breakdown, resource commitments, budget, risks, and communication for each phase of the project, as required by project governance. Partners with the project Business Owner and Technical Lead on project delivery strategy, providing focus on transparency and project controls.\nJob Duties\nDevelops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the project\nFormulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project for project personnel\nManages activities of team members to perform analysis of business requirements to determine technical design and produce the required design documentation\nEstablishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation\nIdentifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks\nCoordinates recruitment and assignment of project personnel\nAssigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel\nDirects and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget\nManages and monitors the work of the team, to ensure that the team focuses on high priority items, while promoting teamwork\nCoordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications\nQuestions designs and/or procedures to enhance the quality of the application and/or process for building the application\nDemonstrates accountability for the results of the team\nImplements metrics to track team performance against schedule expectations and budget\nDevelops and maintains technical and project documentation\nPrepares project status reports and keep management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues\nMonitors project results against technical specifications\nIdentifies and raises issues or deviations from the functional requirements\nAdheres to migration execution planning methodology\nEnsures the creation of test plans\nEnsures execution of unit and string tests (as needed) on new/modified code, by following the specified test plan and verifying the expected results\nDirects application /solution testing\nCaptures best practices for use in future projects\nCompletes project reviews\nObtains, through customer satisfaction and acceptance testing, project signoff of completion\nRequirements\nExperience\nSenior Level: Requires minimum 5 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements\nLead Level: Requires minimum 8 years job related work experience in excess of degree requirements\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Required)\nMaster's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)\nor a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required\nCertifications\nPMP Project Management Professional (Preferred)\nPgMP Program Management Professional (Preferred)\nBenefits\nThe base pay range for this role is $113000 -
