work closely with Management, Operations, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Legal, and other relevant teams to promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical business conduct.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nMonitor and assess applicable laws, regulations, regulatory directives, and industry requirements relevant to Mybitstore’s operations.\nMaintain an up-to-date regulatory compliance register.\nTrack regulatory changes and advise Management on their potential impact on the business.\nEnsure that required regulatory obligations, filings, reports, licenses, registrations, and renewals are completed within applicable timelines.\nLiaise with relevant regulatory bodies and support regulatory examinations, inspections, and enquiries.\nMaintain appropriate records of regulatory correspondence and compliance activities.\nSupport the implementation and monitoring of the Company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT) framework.\nEnsure appropriate Know Your Customer (KYC) and customer due diligence processes are implemented and followed.\nConduct or support enhanced due diligence for higher-risk customers, transactions, or business relationships.\nMonitor transactions and activities for potential suspicious or unusual patterns.\nEscalate suspected financial crime, fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, or other compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.\nSupport the preparation and submission of applicable suspicious transaction or regulatory reports.\nMaintain appropriate AML/KYC documentation and records.\nConduct periodic compliance reviews and assessments across relevant business functions.\nIdentify compliance gaps, control weaknesses, and potential regulatory risks.\nDevelop and track corrective and preventive actions.\nMaintain a compliance risk register and monitor identified risks.\nConduct compliance testing and provide recommendations for improvement.\nFollow up on outstanding compliance issues until satisfactory resolution.\nAssist in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.\nEnsure employees understand and comply with applicable Company policies.\nReview business processes and recommend appropriate compliance controls.\nSupport the implementation of compliance procedures across departments.\nMaintain proper documentation and evidence of compliance activities.\nWork with the Data Protection Supervisor/Officer and relevant teams to promote responsible handling of personal data.\nSupport data protection impact assessments where required.\nMonitor compliance with data handling, retention, access, and privacy procedures.\nEscalate suspected data protection breaches through the appropriate channels.\nOrganize or support compliance training and awareness programmes for employees.\nEducate employees on AML/KYC, data protection, fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery, confidentiality, and other relevant compliance matters.\nMaintain records of compliance training and employee participation.\nSupport investigations into suspected compliance breaches, fraud, policy violations, or other regulatory concerns.\nDocument findings and maintain appropriate investigation records.\nRecommend corrective actions where necessary.\nEscalate material compliance incidents to Management and other relevant stakeholders.\nPrepare regular compliance reports for Management.\nProvide updates on regulatory developments, compliance risks, outstanding issues, and remediation activities.\nMaintain accurate compliance records and documentation.\nSupport the preparation of reports required by regulators and other authorized stakeholders.\n QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.\nMinimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, AML/KYC, internal controls, financial services, fintech, banking, payments, or a related industry.\nGood understanding of Ghana’s regulatory and compliance environment.\nWorking knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, customer due diligence, sanctions screening, and financial crime prevention.\nKnowledge of applicable data protection and privacy requirements.\nExperience developing, implementing, or monitoring compliance policies and procedures.\nExperience conducting compliance reviews, risk assessments, audits, or investigations.\nStrong report-writing and documentation
